Tony was born in Nottingham in 1952. In his twenties the seeds were sown for his love affair with Greece during a holiday on the island of Skiathos. Since then he has visited many of the islands of the Ionian and Aegean Seas, as well as the mainland of Greece.

His heart though lies on the small-unspoilt islands of the Aegean. When in 2006 he had the opportunity of semi-retiring from his business consultancy, he and his partner Carol chose Thassos as their base as UK ex-pats, choosing to live on the outskirts of Thassos Town.

As an author of business books, Tony had been aware after his many years travelling within Greece that what was lacking for the holidaymaker and general traveller was a 'no holds barred' guide to the islands, with all the information that is required to have an exciting, informative and safe vacation brought together in one easy to read book.

In 2006 Tony published his first book on the island of Thassos, followed in 2007 by a guide book to Kos. This is Tony's third book and he hopes to continue to add further books to the series.
